From February 6^th we will be celebrating Children’s Mental Health Week. The theme this year is ‘Let’s connect’. The whole week will also have a circus theme where we will have lots of fun activities planned. The activities will be linked to the 5 steps of well-being which are;

1. Connect with other people. Good relationships are important for your mental wellbeing. … 
2. Be physically active. Being active is not only great for your physical health and fitness. … 
3. Learn new skills. … 
4. Give to others. … 
5. Pay attention to the present moment (mindfulness) 

On Wednesday 8^th your child can come dressed in ‘circus’ clothes. This can be spots or stripes or anything bright. They can also wear their school uniform if they don’t want to dress up.
