Mental Health First Aider for Pupils

Aimee is our Mental Health First Aider for all our Pupils at Delamere School

At our school we aim to:

• help children understand their emotions and feelings better
• help children feel comfortable sharing any concerns or worries
• help children socially to form and maintain relationships
• promote self-esteem and ensure children know that they are valued
• encourage children to be confident
• help children to develop emotional resilience and to manage setbacks.

Mental Health First Aiders for Staff 

There are also trained Mental Health First Aiders at Delamere School who are available to any member of staff who requires support and signposting to additional services for work related or home related issues.
