The Friends of Delamere offers support to parents/carers and raises funds for school. We are reliant on volunteers to put on any events, the more people available to help the more we can do!
Most recently we contributed £8000 towards the underwater light, sound and projector in the new pool. It really is a fantastic resource, these “non-essential” extras really help add the wow factor for the children, allowing them to get so much more from swimming sessions. We also paid for the new swing set on the field, as this needed replacing urgently. This is a great addition to our outdoor learning, and cost over £8000.
This year we continue to raise funds for maintenance of the school fish tank; as well as Adventure Week for Leavers, Reading for Pleasure Books, Music Therapy, Pet Therapy and visit from a theatre company and also the mobile farm.

We also take part in Your School Lottery, it is £1 a ticket every week, and every Saturday night the draw takes place. Our community is guaranteed a winner from every draw (winning roughly £20-£30 depending on how many players there were that week). This has been a fundraising lifeline for us in the past few years whilst face to face events have been troublesome.
