The Kitchen are able to cater for a wide range of specialised diets and needs including things such as dairy free, vegetarian and puréed meals. This enables a wide range of children to enjoy a school dinner and work on those all-important eating and drinking skills as well as independence using cutlery and the lunchtime routine, depending on the child.
As of September 2022 a school meal will be charged at £3.20 per day (£16.00 per week). Meals are payable in advance through Parentmail.
If your child has an appointment and is going to be late to school, please inform us by 10.30am on the day if you would like a school dinner to be ordered.
As of September 2014 all infant pupils (Reception, Year 1 and Year 2) will be eligible for free school meals.
Some children from Year 3 to 6 are also entitled to free school meals, if you are in receipt of certain benefits. Please make sure you apply and let school know if you think you may be entitled, even if your child is fully fed through a gastrostomy or they are covered under the UFSM above, as our pupil premium funding is directly linked to the number of children on Free School Meals.

Our menu will be all homemade and cooked from fresh, we are hoping to grow some of our own produce and get the children involved in the process.
