This enables a wide range of children to enjoy a school dinner and work on those all-important eating and drinking skills as well as independence using cutlery and the lunchtime routine, depending on the child.
As of September 2025 a school meal will be charged at £3.54 per day (£17.70 per week). Meals are payable in advance through Parentmail.
If your child has an appointment and is going to be late to school, please inform us by 10.30am on the day if you would like a school dinner to be ordered.
As of September 2014 all infant pupils (Reception, Year 1 and Year 2) will be eligible for free school meals.
We encourage all families to apply, including those whose children already receive free school meals and those who prefer to bring a packed lunch. Applying may help the school secure additional funding to support pupils and enhance educational provision.
We also encourage families who are not currently receiving Universal Credit to consider applying if they think their circumstances may change in the future. Having an application in place can help ensure support is available as soon as it is needed.
Applying is quick and easy using the online application form
