In Computing, Woodpecker Class have been learning how to follow sequences. Last week, we learned how to make sandwiches by following a step-by-step visual sequence/programme. Pupils had to think about what they needed to do next and find the corresponding picture. We chose what spread we wanted and got to eat what we made for our snack – they were delicious!
We have been doing some sensory cooking in Woodpecker Class. We gathered the ingredients, weighed them out and mixed them all together. We touched, smelled and tasted a variety of foods. We made some chocolate chip cookies and they were very tasty!
Woodpecker class have been working hard in their mark making sessions. We have completed a variety of different activities that developed our fine motor and writing skills, from practicing writing individual letters and experimenting with different materials and tools.
