Teaching Assistant Level 3

Teaching Assistant Level 3 + SEN –  Required ASAP. 3 day, permanent contract – 21.5 hours per week.

Salary Scale: Band 5 Pt 19 – Pt 22 £31,067- £32,654 (pay award pending). Actual salary: £15,848- £16,270

Term-time only + inset days pro-rata

We are an Outstanding Special School seeking to appoint both a full-time and part-time TA3 to join our thriving school community.  The purpose of the role is to support the work of the teachers by taking a lead role in the classroom, including cover for the teacher when required. The role would also include responsibility for the development of a specialist area, & supporting the professional development of less experienced TAs within school.

Applicants should:

  • Hold a TA3 or equivalent qualification (or be working towards this)
  • Have experience of working with children with SEND
