We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded the Leading Parent Partnership Award. The LPPA is a national award that provides us with a valuable framework for continuing school improvement and also gives us recognition for our commitment to working with parents and carers.

Learning is celebrated and shared with parents using social media with photos of children engaged in learning tasks with comments on their progress, enabling parents to comment and share posts.
Parent feedback is gathered, analysed, summarised and shared with parents. This year it was very positive particularly regarding support from school during lockdown and covid restrictions.
There are a range of opportunities for parents to give comprehensive information about their child to help staff understand their health, emotional, social and developmental needs.
The information on the website about the extra curriculum activities Art, Communication Champions, Music and outdoor learning, give a really good insight into how the school work with children holistically
Parent partnership is everyone’s responsibility and The Parent Engagement Plan includes how school can reach out to help parents who are not engaging with school. The Parent Council are very much involved with providing feedback on communication and their views taken into consideration when making changes.

The school have included information on languages spoken at home in their information gathering process and changed to using the term ‘multilingual’ to celebrate these parents and families
The entrance is calm and spacious providing as relaxing as possible welcome for parents and visitors. New internal signs direct parents and visitor to each area of the school. There are interesting displays of children’s art work and information notices around the school.
