Class Teacher

Class Teacher – 2 roles available:

  • 1 x Full-time, permanent contract from January 2025
  • 1 x Full-time Fixed term Maternity Leave contract from January 2025 for 1 year or until the return of the post holder (whichever is sooner)

Teachers Pay Scale plus SEN1 or SEN2 allowance (Dependent on current salary and experience).

The governing body at Delamere is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled class teacher to join a successful team. Both existing specialist teachers & mainstream teachers are welcome to apply. Please check the person specification carefully.

  • Is an outstanding teacher;

  • Will set and achieve high standards and expectations of learning, teaching, behaviour and care;
  • Has the commitment, dedication, determination and organisational skills required to succeed in such a demanding role;
  • Has experience of leading a curriculum subject successfully;
  • Has the ability to differentiate for pupils with a range of learning needs whilst remaining aspirational for all;
  • Has a strong commitment to multi-disciplinary teamwork;
  • Has demonstrable communication skills to engage and motivate students, parents and staff;

  • Has a willingness to pick up new knowledge quickly and is aspirational for all our pupils
